Wesley Dalmar’s Out of Home Care program provides safe, loving homes to more than 620 children and young people in foster care.

About the role

Wesley Dalmar is seeking a Case Manager to join the Out of Home Care Lewisham team which is based in Bella Vista.  The position offers challenging and rewarding opportunities to work with children, birth parents and foster carers.  We’re seeking the services of a highly motivated professional who is passionate about making a difference through working with children and young people in foster care.

The agency provides regular supervision and support for all staff and opportunities for professional development, a fully maintained vehicle and salary packaging.

Essential criteria

  • tertiary qualification(s) in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology or related fields
  • experience in Out of Home Care
  • knowledge skills and experience working with children and families 
  • demonstrated ability to write reports to a professional standard
  • wide-ranging experience in case management
  • high-level ability to liaise, network, and maintain solid working relationships with community groups and government departments
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • flexible to work some evenings and weekends
  • current unrestricted Driver’s Licence.


Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, with generous salary packaging available.
