Anti-Discrimination Board
The Anti-Discrimination Board of NSW administers the anti-discrimination laws and promotes anti-discrimination and equal opportunity principles and policies throughout New South Wales. It is part of the NSW Department of Attorney General and Justice.

Association of Children with a Disability
This organisation provides information and support to families of children or young adults with any type of disability.

Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect)
Aspect supports children and adults with autism.

Carers Australia
Carers Australia is the peak national body representing Australia’s carers. Carers Australia advocates on behalf of Australia’s carers to influence policies and services at a national level.

Carers NSW
Carers NSW is the state wide peak body for carers in New South Wales.

Cerebral Palsy Alliance (formerly The Spastic Centre)
Cerebral Palsy Alliance supports children and adults with cerebral palsy in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

Children with Disability Australia (CDA )
CDA is the national peak body which represents children and young people (aged 0-25) with disability and their families.

Council of Social Service of New South Wales (NCOSS)
The Council of Social Service of New South Wales is the peak body for the social and community services sector in New South Wales.

Deaf Australia
Deaf Australia Inc is the national peak organisation for deaf people in Australia. It represents the views of deaf people who use Auslan (Australian Sign Language).

Down Syndrome NSW
Down Syndrome NSW provides support and information to people with Down syndrome and their families, service providers and the wider community.

Early Childhood Australia (ECA)
ECA is the peak body for all issues relating to the education and care of children from birth to eight years.

Early Childhood Intervention Australia (ECIA)
ECIA is the national body for early childhood intervention in Australia.

Family Advocacy
Family Advocacy is an independent disability advocacy organisation which works across New South Wales. The organisation works with families in which there is a child or an adult with developmental disability.

First Peoples Disability Network (FPDN)
The FPDN is an organisation of and for Aboriginal people living with a disability.

Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission
The Australian Human Rights Commission leads the implementation of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.

The Indigenous Disability Advocacy Service (IDAS)
IDAS is funded to service Indigenous persons with a disability in western Sydney and regional centres in areas of high need in New South Wales, in consultation with Family and Community Services and Ageing, Disability and Home Care.

Multicultural Disability Advocacy Association of NSW (MDAA)
This organisation is the peak body for people from a non-English speaking background (NESB) with disability and their families and carers in New South Wales.

National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA)
NEDA is the national consumer based peak body for people from non-English speaking background (NESB) with a disability, their families and carers. It aims to advocate at a federal level, for the rights and interests of people from a NESB with a disability, their families and carers.

National Disability Services (NDS)
NDS is the Australian peak body for non-government disability services.

National Respite Association
National Respite Association is the peak body for non-government organisations involved in providing respite care and/or social support to families who have a member with a cognitive, physical, sensory or psychiatric disability or a person who is frail aged.

NSW Ombudsman
The NSW Ombudsman is an independent and impartial watchdog established by the Ombudsman Act 1974 that aims to keep government agencies and some non-government organisations accountable.

Parents of Deaf Children (PODC)
Parents of Deaf Children (PODC), formerly Parent Council for Deaf Education, is a non-profit organisation, supporting families with babies, children and teenagers with hearing loss in New South Wales.

People with Disability
People with Disability Australia Incorporated (PWD) is a national peak disability rights and advocacy organisation.

Physical Disability Council
PDCN is the peak body in New South Wales representing people with lifelong physical disability across the state.

Playgroups Australia
Playgroups Australia is the peak body for playgroups in Australia.

Playgroups NSW
Playgroups NSW represents the interests of playgroups in New South Wales.

Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC)
RIDBC supports people with hearing and/or vision loss and their families.

The Disability Council
The Disability Council of NSW is the official advisory body to the State Government on disability matters.

The NSW Council for Intellectual Disability (NSW CID)
The NSW Council for Intellectual Disability is a peak body representing the rights and interests of people with intellectual disability in New South Wales.

Vision Australia supports people with a vision loss.
