Wesley Mission’s Mums and Kids Matter program is a NSW state-wide service that offers psychosocial support, parenting skills training and practical living skills support to mothers in NSW living with a mental health condition, who have children under the age of five.
The support is delivered through:
- residential non-acute care, or
- in-home community care
Entry into program is through a referral from NSW Public Mental Health Services. For eligibility criteria click here.
Being a mum is one of the most important jobs in the world. We appreciate that motherhood can be challenging. It’s even more demanding when you are struggling with mental illness.
At Mums and Kids Matter we understand your mental health condition is something you are living with. It’s not what you’re all about. When you participate in our program, we partner with you to achieve the best possible outcomes for you and your family.
Whether you’re a mum, dad, carer or referrer, here you will find the information you need to discover our unique program and entry process.
