Steps to enrol

National Vocational Education and Training

You can find out all the necessary information for your specific course by contacting us, or through making an online enquiry. We’ll provide you with everything you need to know about our services and the course, including:

  • our policies and services
  • how to obtain a Unique Student Identifier number (USI)
  • necessary course enrolment information
  • fee information including cancellations refunds and deferment
  • venue and training schedule details
  • national recognition, Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer procedures
  • content of courses
  • competency Based Training & Assessment Procedures
  • consumer protection, grievances, and complaints handling
  • work, health and safety procedures
  • student support and assistance details.

How to apply

Step 1: If you’re interested in finding out more about our courses or you have a question for us, complete the short form below.

Step 2: A Wesley Vocational Institute (WVI) representative will make contact with you to arrange your receipt of pre-course paperwork.

Step 3: A WVI representative will provide you with your Smart and Skilled notification quote (if applicable).

Step 4: Attend the WVI information session and complete mandatory language, literacy and numeracy assessment.

Step 5: A WVI representative will advise you if you have been accepted into the course and provide you with your detailed Training Plan.

Step 6: Complete and return your enrolment paperwork.

Step 7: The WVI representative office will contact you with additional information to prepare you for your course.

Your identity will need to be verified upon enrolment. One of the following is required:

  • birth certificate
  • passport
  • drivers license
  • proof of age card.

If required, we may need to make a photocopy of your ID document for our records.

Prior to enrolling into a nationally recognised training qualification program, or an Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) accredited course, you must obtain and provide a Unique Student Identifier number (USI). For more information on USI and how to obtain one, go to the Australian Government’s USI website.

NSW students may be eligible for subsidised training under the NSW Government’s Smart and Skilled program, view the eligibility criteria here or call 1300 772 104.
