About the program
Wesley Frank Vickery village supports residents in our care by providing person centred care to support residents living independently within the retirement village environment.
Through our work with Wesley Retirement we focus on promoting resident wellbeing, safety, autonomy and quality of life while respecting privacy and independence.
About the role
As a Flexicare community support worker your duties will be many and varied and include such tasks as providing assistance with domestic duties and personal care. Medication prompts (as per policy), monitor changes in behaviour, mobility and personal hygiene and report any such changes to the Flexicare supervisor. Attend to our emergency call system promptly and arrange appropriate care, ie. Emotional support, first aid or emergency services.
Assist with front of house service in the village cafe/dining room. Help residents organise pathology, doctors appointments and transport where necessary. Keep accurate notes on residents.
