About the role
The casual cleaner is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across common areas of the retirement village. The position requires initiative, attention to detail and a caring, customer focused approach suited to working within an older community.
This position is responsible to clean and maintain common areas including hallways, lounges, dining rooms, community rooms, reception areas and bathrooms. Vacuum, mop, dust and remove waste as required. Respond professionally to cleaning related requests and ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory guidelines.
The successful applicant will:

Experience in commercial or residential cleaning.

Understanding of safe chemical handling and WHS practices.

Have the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Reliability, punctuality and strong attention to detail.
-
Experience in aged care or retirement living (desirable).

National police check mandatory
-
First aid certificate
