About the role

As an Educator, you will play an active, handson role in delivering highquality experiences for children and supporting the daily operation of the service. Working as part of a committed team, you will contribute to programming, help maintain a safe and engaging environment, and build positive relationships with children, families, and the school community.

This role suits someone who enjoys working directly with children, values teamwork, and is confident supporting routines, wellbeing, and learning experiences within a structured and supportive organisation.

You will assist with supervision, programming implementation, compliance tasks, and effective communication with families. You’ll also contribute to creating a warm, welcoming environment that reflects the needs of the children and community.

Our Kings Langley will begin operation on 22nd April 2026 and will be in a dedicated space within Kings Langley Public School. We are dedicated to build a team that is welcoming, energetic, and committed to creating an inclusive environment where children can thrive. This role includes a mix of split shifts.

Wesley OOSH operates 12 services across Sydney and the Central Coast. Our programs are guided by the My Time, Our Place framework and shaped by strong relationships with schools, families, and local communities. We focus on play, connection, wellbeing, and building teams that are supported to do their best work.

 

Essential skills and knowledge

• Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or equivalent
• Sound working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place
• Minimum one year experience working in a children’s service
• Demonstrated experience coordinating or leading a team
• Ability to plan, implement, and review high quality programs
• First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety
• Current Working with Children Check
• Completion of approved Child Protection Training
• Current driver’s licence
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Well developed written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and QikKids
• Willingness to work split shifts as required
