We are seeking an exceptional Head of Philanthropy to provide strategic and inspirational leadership across our major giving, high-net-worth, trusts and foundations and corporate fundraising portfolio.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager Marketing & Fundraising, this senior leadership role is responsible for shaping and delivering Wesley Mission’s philanthropy strategy to drive sustainable growth, deepen supporter relationships and extend our impact in line with our mission and 2028 Strategic Plan.
This is a rare opportunity for a highly accomplished philanthropy leader who combines strategic rigour with relational excellence and a genuine commitment to purpose-driven work.
What you’ll do
Lead the strategy and execution of fundraising growth across Major Donors, High Net Worth individuals, Trusts & Foundations and Corporate partners
Build and steward deep, long-term relationships with senior donors, partners and stakeholders
Partner closely with Service Delivery, Strategy, Support Services and Wesley Congregational Life to develop compelling cases for support and fundraising programmes
Provide strong, values-led leadership and day-to-day management of the philanthropy team
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, performance excellence and supporter-centred practice
Act as a senior ambassador for Wesley Mission, representing the organisation with credibility and influence
Embed Wesley Mission’s Word and deed in all aspects of philanthropy and leadership
