Learning & Development Program Coordinator
Event management and internal customer service role

The Learning & Development team is part of Wesley People & Culture. We provide orientation and education programs for staff, volunteers and managers. It is our team’s mission to give all new starters at Wesley Mission an engaging onboarding experience.
You are a well-organised administrator specialising in events management to organise and execute learning events and programs. You enjoy coordinating people, place and resources to come together for training and development.
You have the ability to work with information systems and learning management systems that assist with event planning, tracking participation, and keeping records of training data.
You enjoy being the customer service point of contact for a corporate support service responding to queries and requests from staff and managers. You enjoy working with a wider team of ‘people & culture’ professionals in organisational development, human resources, health, safety and wellbeing.
You can delegate work and supervise part-time administrative staff and volunteers to accomplish your work. Your role includes coaching and supervising these team members to achieve your goals. You are able to define their responsibilities and support them to achieve high quality program delivery.

Essential:
experience managing events of diverse scope and scale
experience planning and coordinating a calendar of programs
experience in customer service roles
experience working in a high volume, fast-paced environment with a variable workload and competing demands
strong delegation and collaboration skills
high level of verbal and written communication skills
proficient Microsoft Office skills
current NSW driver’s licence and car
Desirable skills/knowledge and qualifications:
experience working in a learning and development environment
experience with learning and development management systems
experience working in for-purpose or cause related organisation
experience supervising staff and volunteers
qualifications in Event Management, Business Administration, Human Resources or Training & Assessment
