Details

This specialised workshop is designed for Disability Support Workers, Support Coordinators, Allied Health professionals, Carers, Management and Frontline Admin Staff. Informed by the latest research in suicide prevention, the training equips participants with essential skills to recognise and respond to individuals who may be at risk of suicide.
 
Key learning outcomes:
• How to use safe, supportive language
• How to ask about suicide
• Active listening strategies
• Safety planning and self‑care
• Risk and protective factors
• How to connect someone with support services.
