Wesley Mission has been supported by volunteers since the very beginning, over 200 years ago. It is only with the support of our dedicated and generous volunteers that we are able to live our vision to do all the good we can, because every life matters.
Thank you to each of our volunteers for your time, hard work and expertise.
National Volunteer Week 2021
National Volunteer Week is the annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contributions of our nation’s volunteers. Our Wesley Mission volunteers are essential to supporting people in our communities. We couldn’t help more than 160,000 people each year without them.
The theme for this year’s National Volunteer Week was ‘Recognise, Reconnect, Reimagine’:
Recognise – to celebrate and show thanks for the vital role volunteers play in the lives of the people we support.
Reconnect – to the heart of why we give our time to each other as restrictions ease.
Reimagine – how we can better support our volunteers and the communities they help.
We want to thank all our volunteers for the vital role they play every day in our communities, especially during times of need, crisis or isolation. Thank you for your dedication and passion to doing all the good you can. You’re an important part of Wesley Mission.
