Who it's for
Reconnect is designed for young people aged 12-18, who are experiencing challenges such as:
- Family conflict or breakdown.
- Homelessness or unstable living situations.
- Mental health and wellbeing.
- Experiencing disconnection from Education Services and community isolation.
Our programs also support individuals aged 12 to 18 (or 21 if you're a newly arrived refugee) facing similar challenges in Penrith, Hawkesbury, or Blue Mountains areas.
Our support services
We believe in empowering young people by enhancing their skills, opportunities, and safety through tailored support and programs. Our reconnect supports include:
Mental health and wellbeing
We support children and young people who show the early signs of, or are at risk of developing, mental illness.
Help with living arrangements
We provide support and advocacy to help young people navigate housing needs.
Family mediation
Helping young people and their families to resolve conflict and develop new styles of communication.
One to one support
Guidance to improve family relationships and restore peace in the home. We help empower young people to establish goals that encourages them address the challenges in their lives.
Group work information
Tailored individual support for young people to identify education, training, housing, wellbeing and employment opportunities.
We also provide
Support to build community connections and access additional support networks.
Flexible support provided wherever you feel comfortable—at a cafe, community, your home, or school.
Group sessions with peers
Assistance in reconnecting with education, training, or employment opportunities.
Referral to specific support programs which is tailored to your needs.
Outcomes
