Who it's for
Wesley Youth Accommodation services are for at-risk young people who need a place to stay. This service is for:
- Young people aged 16 to 25 experiencing or are at risk of homelessness in
Sydney’s Inner West including Burwood, Canada Bay, Canterbury-Bankstown, Inner-West, and Strathfield.
- Those facing challenges like family breakdown, abuse, financial hardship, or mental health issues.
Our support services
Wesley Youth Accommodation aims to help young people achieve stable housing and greater independence through:
Crisis accommodation
We offer 24/7 emergency accommodation and support for young people aged 14-17 years who are without somewhere safe to stay.
Transitional housing
Secure, medium-term housing (up to 12 months) for young people aged 17–24 experiencing homelessness in Sydney’s Inner West.
Along with housing, the program offers support to address challenges like mental health, addiction, family breakdown and financial stress.
The goal is to help young people secure stable, long-term housing by overcoming barriers such as rental history gaps or tenancy blacklisting (TICA).
Support services
Comprehensive assessment and referral services to connect individuals with the right support, alongside case management and wrap-around care to address complex needs.
Transitional accommodation provides a safe space for those experiencing homelessness, while rough sleeping patrols offer outreach and emergency assistance.
Dedicated mental health inpatient in-reach also ensures those in crisis receive the specialised care and ongoing support they need.
Youth off the streets
Wesley Mission also partners with Youth Off The Streets to support homeless and at-risk youth in Inner West Sydney.
