The Wesley Community Living program supports adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities to live independently in their own homes and to have an active role in the community. We also help people gain the skills that enable them to transition to living independently.
At Wesley LifeSkills you can develop friendships and grow your skills, confidence and independence. The program can also be used as an alternative to paid employment or further education in the medium to longer term. As a participant in Wesley LifeSkills, you’ll have access to a number of enjoyable activities, including:
- music therapy
- literacy and numeracy development
- swimming and other sports
- practical living skills
- personal training
- dance therapy
- special events and social outings.
