About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Clinical Team Leader is a new role, accountable for the development and leadership of a small clinical team for the region. The Clinical Team Leader will also provide guidance to non-clinical team members to ensure all Home Care services are delivered in alignment with evidence-based best practice and adhering to clinical governance requirements.

Key areas of focus will be:

  • building and developing a small team of Nursing and Allied Health professionals to support the clinical care needs of Wesley Mission Home Care clients in the region
  • providing guidance, support and capability-building for non-clinical team members to ensure care plans and care delivery are in alignment with best practice and meet all compliance requirements
  • reviewing clinical policies and procedures and providing advice to ensure currency and suitability for the regions’ clients and staff
  • participating in the Home Care Clinical Leadership group to identify gaps, determine corrective actions, implement changes and evaluate outcomes relating to clinical care in the region and within Wesley Mission Home Care as a whole.

About You

You are an AHPRA-registered health professional (Nursing or Allied Health background) with extensive clinical experience. Ideally, some of this experience will be in community-based and aged care settings. You will have experience in leading small teams and you find great satisfaction in supporting your team members to grow and develop in their roles. You will also be looking for a role that can grow with you. As this is a newly created role, you’ll be keen to bring your skills and experience to building strong clinical care foundations in your region and to work closely with all client-care team members to deliver continuous quality improvements and great care outcomes for our clients.
