About the program

The Wesley LifeForce Community Suicide Prevention Networks project is an exciting initiative which focuses on supporting suicide prevention activities through a collaborative and strategic community approach. We are now able to expand this initiative through additional government support.

About the role

This role is all about providing administrative support and project coordination to local communities who care about suicide prevention and the internal staff who work directly with the community. The work is important, rewarding and significant.

Through your force of personality, superior administrative and project coordination skills and passion for getting things done, a large part of the success of building community networks to prevent suicide across Australia will be attributable to you.

You will most likely have previous experience in administrative and project roles in either a health or community development setting. In any event you will be self-motivated and confident in building relationships.

Importantly, you will have:

  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • demonstrated ability in utilising a data base
  • demonstrated experience in project management
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel
  • demonstrated experience in office administration tasks.
