Talk to someone
If you’re facing a crisis, whether financial or personal, it’s always a good idea to talk to someone and feel supported. We encourage you to talk about what you’re going through, and provide a number of options to help get a conversation started.
Lifeline 13 11 14
Lifeline’s telephone crisis support (13 11 14) is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the cost of a local call (mobile phone calls are free of charge).
Somewhere in Australia there is a new call to Lifeline every minute. At Lifeline Sydney & Sutherland we answer more than 24,000 calls each year. The centre is owned and operated by Wesley Mission and is one of 37 centres accredited by Lifeline Australia.
If your call isn’t answered straight away, it means we are experiencing high demand for our service and helping other Australians in need. If you or someone you know is in danger, please call emergency services on 000.
