Don’t wait until it’s too late

Apart from one-on-one support, our community groups can offer:

  • information sessions and workshops for businesses and organisations
  • group sessions and workshops for individuals and those in their networks who are impacted by gambling.

Recognising gambling harm

Harmful gambling can be difficult to recognise so it’s important to know the signs and symptoms. You may be experiencing gambling harm if you:

  • gamble beyond what you can reasonably afford or want to spend
  • find it difficult to stop gambling
  • borrow or steal money so you can gamble
  • are piling up on debt or you’re unable to pay for basic essentials because of your gambling need to “win” back losses by gambling
  • think about gambling regularly throughout the day
  • experience relationship issues or troubles at work because of your gambling behaviours
  • keep secrets or lie about your gambling behaviour or gambling debts
  • feel like you’ve lost control of your gambling.

If you or someone you know is affected by gambling, our helpline is ready and waiting to help you.
