Everyone has a future

“The heartache that I have had has been replaced with hope for the future…”

Janice began a long career as a registered nurse at the age of 20, helping people in all situations in their moments of biggest need.

Unfortunately, a number of life circumstances meant that she was no longer able to continue her work, and she lost her registration some years ago. It was a devastating blow for Janice.

But since being a participant in the Opportunity Pathways program at Wesley Mission, Janice says that her life is turning around in a much better direction:

“I have been able to rebuild my life to a degree with confidence using the skills that I have acquired through doing Certificate III (CHC32015) and Certificate IV (CHC42015) in Community Services.”

Wesley Mission’s Opportunity Pathways team offers Janice support as she works on her reregistration as a nurse. She is looking forward to restarting her career in nursing and once again helping people in the medical context!

“I would like to thank the teachers as well as Chloe who was never far away and ever willing to assist and with a smile!”
