    Resource Hub

Gambling harm affects individuals, families and communities at many levels. To support meaningful change, we’ve created a central hub of resources designed to inform, empower and inspire action.

Here, you’ll find helpful materials such as fact sheets, discussion papers, survey results on community attitudes and social media tiles that explain our campaign goals. These resources are for organisations who wants to learn more about gambling harm and take steps to reduce it.

    Key findings

    Finding 1
Nearly 80% of NSW residents support shutting down poker machines from midnight to 10am. A majority believe it would make no difference or even enhance a night out.
    thumb_up_26dp_F37558_FILL0_wght400_GRAD0_opsz24
    Finding 2
66% of people have no reservations about the introduction of a mandatory cashless system for gambling, with harm minimisation built in, and support is highest for loss limits to be fixed, based on NSW average losses.

    Finding 3

The initial strong positive response by regular gamblers to the government’s banning of external signage is wearing off. Like most public health measures, the government needs to implement a new harm minimisation reform.
