About the role

As a Case Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people in Out of Home Care (OOHC) and Supported Independent Living (SIL). You will work closely with children, young people, birth families, and foster carers to ensure safe, stable, and nurturing placements, while supporting young people to build independence and life skills.

 

Essential criteria

• degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology or related discipline

• two years’ experience working with children and families and/or in the OOHC field

• previous experience in case management

• flexible working hours including occasional evenings and weekends

• current unrestricted driver’s licence

• excellent written and verbal communication skills

• ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• demonstrated conflict resolution and behaviour management skills

 

Desirable criteria

• knowledge of therapeutic care frameworks
