Educator Central Coast - OOSH / OSHC
About the role
As an Educator, you will play an active, hands‑on role in delivering high‑quality experiences for children and supporting the daily operation of the service. Working as part of a committed team, you will contribute to programming, help maintain a safe and engaging environment, and build positive relationships with children, families, and the school community.
This role suits someone who enjoys working directly with children, values teamwork, and is confident supporting routines, wellbeing, and learning experiences within a structured and supportive organisation.
You will assist with supervision, programming implementation, compliance tasks, and effective communication with families. You’ll also contribute to creating a warm, welcoming environment that reflects the needs of the children and community.
We are recruiting Casual Educators and two separate services in our Central Coast region based at one of the following services:

For over 25 years, Wesley Out of School Hours Care has been delivering high quality before and after school care in environments where children’s safety and wellbeing are non-negotiable. We operate 15 services across Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle regions.

Demonstrated behaviours:
Essential criteria
demonstrated ability to be encouraging and passionate about providing children with engaging activities
good organisational and time management skills
current Employee Working with Children check or willingness to obtain
ability to work as part of a team
good communication and relational skills with children, staff and families
Desirable criteria
Current driver’s Licence
experience in working with school age children
experience in sport coaching
demonstrated ability to be creative
a working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and ‘My Time, Our Place’
intermediate Computer skills
Willingness to work split shifts as required
Remuneration
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Children’s Services Award. Other benefits include discounted private health cover, study assistance and Employee Assistance Program.
