Wesley Vocational Institute (RTO Code 90091), the Registered Training Organisation of Wesley Mission, has been successfully delivering accredited training and industry specific community programs for over 20 years, with offices across NSW and strong partnerships interstate.

 

About the role

To succeed in this role you must have extensive management experience preferably in the education and training sector, excellent communication skills, demonstrated business acumen and the ability to inspire and motivate your team to meet significant organisational and financial targets.

 

Whilst overseeing a NSW team, the Group Manager will support the growth of the business in line with the Wesley Mission Strategic Plan, whilst having a reputation for empowering your teams, delivering quality outcomes and managing conflicting priorities effectively.

 

You will be highly respected by industry partners and stakeholders, customers and other Wesley Mission services for under selling and over delivering and your passion and “can do” attitude will be contagious.

Essential criteria

  • demonstrated business acumen and business development skills
  • demonstrated management experience within an education or training environment
  • demonstrated knowledge of issues surrounding the establishment, design and coordination of accredited training compliant with vet quality framework
  • demonstrated experience in setting and achieving financial and organisational targets in a competitive environment
  • demonstrated ability to provide strong leadership which empowers your team to succeed
  • demonstrated experience providing great customer service
  • excellent and influential verbal and written communication skills

 

Desirable criteria

  • an understanding of ASQA and the Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116)
  • relevant Tertiary qualifications
  • previous experience in a similar role.
