Wesley Out of School Hours Care
Are you ready to take the next step in your OOSH career? Join a team that values your voice, invests in your development, and creates a workplace where children thrive, and Educators do too.
We’re looking for a passionate Senior Educator (2IC) to join our Riverstone OOSH team full-time. Grow your career in a supportive, child-centred service backed by Wesley Mission’s 200-year legacy.
About us
For 25 years, Wesley Out of School Hours Care has been a leader in providing before and after-school care and vacation care for primary school-aged children. As part of Wesley Mission, a trusted community service organisation with over 200 years of history, we are proud to deliver care that makes a lasting difference to children and their families.
With 12 services across Sydney and the Central Coast, Wesley OOSH creates spaces where children feel at home, and families feel genuinely supported. We believe every child deserves an environment that encourages learning, connection and belonging.
About the role
As the Senior Educator (2IC), you will work closely with the Service Coordinator to support daily operations, lead the team in their absence, and contribute to the planning and delivery of engaging programs.
You will mentor other Educators, build strong relationships with families and school staff, and help maintain high standards of compliance and care.
To succeed in this role, you will bring emerging leadership qualities, a genuine passion for working with children, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
You will be enthusiastic, motivated, and energetic, with a commitment to creating meaningful, play-based learning experiences.
A collaborative approach to working with families, colleagues, and school staff is essential, along with a desire to contribute to a supportive and inclusive team culture.
Our Riverstone service is licensed for 115 children and located in the school hall of Riverstone Public School. The team is welcoming, energetic, and committed to creating an inclusive environment where children can thrive. This full-time role includes a mix of split shifts and block shifts.
