Trainer and Assessor | Cert III, Cert IV & Diploma in Community Services
Sasha Dinic brings more than 30 years of experience across the aged care, disability and community services sectors to her role as a full-time Trainer and Assessor at Wesley Vocational Institute.
Sasha delivers high-quality training and assessment across the Certificate III in Community Services, Certificate IV in Community Services and Diploma in Community Services, in both face-to-face and online settings. Her approach centres on building supportive, inclusive learning environments where students feel equipped and motivated to pursue meaningful careers in care.
Her qualifications include a Diploma of Training and Assessment, Diploma of Community Services and multiple certifications across disability, ageing support and mental health. Sasha’s work is underpinned by her commitment to continuous professional development which keeps her practice both current and evidence-informed.
Sasha's hands-on industry experience, including volunteer work supporting leisure, health and care activities in aged care settings, gives her students a trainer who understands the real-world demands of community services work and brings that practical knowledge directly into the classroom.
Trainer and Assessor | Cert III & Cert IV Community Services
Tanya Campbell brings a wealth of experience across the disability and aged care sectors to her role as Trainer and Assessor at Wesley Vocational Institute. She follows a practical, student-centred approach that consistently delivers high completion rates and strong employment outcomes.
Tanya's teaching methodology is grounded in adult learning principles, incorporating diverse learning styles through discussion, group activities, real-life scenarios and hands-on practice. She is committed to creating inclusive, non-judgmental learning environments where students feel supported, motivated and capable, and takes a proactive approach to identifying and addressing individual learning needs early.
An active member of the National Disability Services and the South Coast Assessor Network, Tanya maintains strong links with industry and community. This helps ensure her delivery of the Certificate III and Certificate IV in Community Services remains current, practical and aligned with the evolving needs of the disability and aged care workforce.
Tanya's commitment to her work goes beyond the classroom, participating in community fundraising, local expos and continuous professional development across disability, mental health and aged care. She is passionate about bringing real-world experience and learning directly to her students.
Community Services Educator | Cert III, Cert IV & Diploma in Community Services
Brandon Costin brings more than two decades of combined experience across sport, youth work, education and community development to his role as a Community Services Educator at Wesley Mission.
After a successful professional Rugby League career, Brandon built a pathway into community services through coaching, youth work and education. This included seven years delivering community services training, most recently at NSW TAFE, where he developed and led a highly successful program within a correctional centre. His ability to engage and motivate learners in complex environments is a hallmark of his teaching approach.
Brandon now delivers the Certificate III in Community Services, Certificate IV in Community Services and Diploma in Community Services at Wesley Mission, bringing a strengths-based, relational style to the classroom. He describes his approach as more coach than teacher, creating learning environments where students feel genuinely supported, motivated and capable of achieving their goals.

Below are frequently asked questions that dive into the details of community services training, specifically about the certificates offered by Wesley Mission.
To obtain a community service certificate, enrol in a relevant course offered by an accredited training provider such as Wesley Mission. Simply fill out an online application form, providing your educational qualifications.
Once accepted, you will engage in coursework, practical assignments and work placements to meet the learning objectives for your chosen program.
Wesley Mission offers a variety of community service certificate programs that meet your interests and career pathway. These include:
We also offer a longer, more involved mixed-mode CHC52025 Diploma of Community Services program.
Each program equips you with the skills and knowledge you need to deliver an exceptional service that improves the well-being of people and communities.
Our certificate programs, which are available in online, in-person, and mixed-mode formats, require one day per fortnight of active participation and a further 20 – 25 hours for every competency unit you enrol in. The certificate programs run for a duration of between 10 and 15 months.
Our mixed-mode CHC52025 Diploma of Community Services program runs for 24 months and requires a minimum of 100 hours of work experience or placement.
Our entry requirements specify that you must:

Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian Permanent Resident or a Humanitarian visa holder

Have NSW residency or be employed by a NSW employer

Possess a satisfactory level of language, literacy, numeracy and digital capability.

Have access to a computer with Microsoft 365 or similar applications and a dependable internet and browser

Commit to the attendance, study load and work experience/work placement requirements for each course

Be willing to complete:

– Australian National Police Check **
