Wesley Operation Hope

This initiative gives disadvantaged young people a break from their everyday lives and the opportunity to work on person-centered goals, over a six month period. Adventure therapy is used as the foundation of providing support, encouragement, and care.

Each group entering the Wesley Operation Hope program consists of up to 16 young people aged 12-17 years, working together to develop personal goals, leadership skills, self-awareness, and self-actualisation.

Camps are run in conjunction with Wesley Vision Valley, a recreation centre in Sydney’s north-west. Young people participate over a 12 week period, using an adventure therapy model designed to foster change. The program is facilitated in different urban and wilderness environments, as well as at Wesley Vision Valley.
