Come and see the Circus at the fair

The annual Wesley Fair will, for the first time, have a circus performance as part of the event.

Dance Central, based in Surry Hills, is donating time and talent to support Wesley Mission’s work with people facing homelessness by performing a special circus routine, designed specifically for Wesley Fair.

“We’re very excited to have Dance Central at our annual Wesley Fair,” said event organiser Mrs Carol Garner. “Our fair is always an exciting day, and the inclusion of a circus performance brings even more joy to this event”

Wesley Fair is Wesley Mission’s annual market day to raise much-needed funds for critical work. It brings together many of Wesley Mission’s supporters, such as volunteers, corporate groups and generous donors, to support people doing it tough.

The 2019 Wesley Fair will raise money for the total refurbishment of the Wesley Edward Eagar Centre, which opened its doors in the late 1970s to support people facing homelessness and hardship.

Tickets to the circus performance can be purchased online, with an early bird price of $7 by 4 November and includes free popcorn. The standard price of $10 will apply after 4 November.

The annual Wesley Fair sells new and pre-loved goods, such as clothes, toys, books and DVDs, as well as home-cooked food such as crepes and a BBQ. In addition, there is an auction of donated high-end items and special guests throughout the day.
