Managing financial hardship

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has hit home for many Australians in various aspects of their lives. A significant part of this is the financial strain the global crisis has placed on numerous individuals and families alike.

While government assistance is offered to those who are unable to work or don’t have work due to COVID-19, there’s further support available for you to consider.

We’re here to help

Wesley Mission is committed to serving our community and for those who are vulnerable throughout this unprecedented time.

Most of our work is an essential community service and they are available for you. We continue to provide and deliver our services while adhering to government directives. We do this to ensure we also do our part in keeping our community COVID-safe.

Wesley Emergency Relief

Wesley Mission’s Emergency Relief program helps people address their immediate basic needs in times of financial crisis. This program provides a safety net for people experiencing financial distress or hardship and have limited means or resources to help them alleviate their financial crisis.

Due to COVID-19, the Emergency Relief team has launched a new online submission form to help respond to the high volume of enquiries we are currently receiving. Once the form has been submitted, we will contact you within seven business days to discuss your enquiry.

For urgent support, please email emergencyrelief@wesleymission.org.au.
