A highlight of Wesley Mission’s Holy Week events, the Easter Luncheon was an opportunity to reflect on this year’s theme, ‘Hope is built on nothing less’.
Wesley Mission CEO, the Rev Keith Garner delivered a thought-provoking Easter message on the theme of hope and acknowledged the hopelessness that many people feel today.
“Nobody is too hopeless for God. Nobody is beyond the place of redemption and hope. When I think of what we stand for, what we are about at Wesley Mission, both historically and present, I’m so glad that’s true,” said Garner with deep conviction.

Carol Garner, the host of the lunch welcomed the many guests and Dr Keith Suter read from scripture. Talented singer-songwriter, Alexandra Moss performed an original song, Overflow, dedicated to the extraordinary love she has seen displayed by Foster Carers. The central lyric speaking of the unending love of God, ‘when my tank is empty, your cup overflows’.
