Rev Keith V Garner AM book launch

On Tuesday 22 September 2020, we were delighted to celebrate the release of the Rev Keith V Garner AM’s latest book – Faith, Compassion and the Challenge of Business.

The launch event was attended by 150 invited guests and was met with great anticipation. The book represents the culmination of Rev Keith Garner’s many years of experience leading organisations and people towards success, combining ministry and business.

Special guests at the event included Mark Scott AO, the Hon Tanya Plibersek MP, and Rev Tim Costello AO. In conversation with author and historian Dr Meredith Lake, Rev Keith V Garner AM and guests discussed his unique ministry, and some key themes within the book, covering 40 years – including 15 transformational years at Wesley Mission.

As Rev Garner knows more than most, there are enormous challenges for leaders whose roles combine faith and business missions. In Faith, Compassion and the Challenge of Business, he unpacks some of the keys to tackling these challenges, including how faith can help overcome the difficulties of business for Christian leaders.

At the event, guests lined up to purchase the book, including signed copies. All proceeds will continue to support Wesley Mission’s homelessness project, Wesley Edward Eagar Centre.

In 15 years, Rev Garner transformed Wesley Mission into a thriving organisation, now helping more people than ever before, and with an unrivalled financial stability.

Faith, Compassion and the Challenge of Business reveals how all of this was achieved and will guide readers on the path towards the same level of success. It’s been written as a record and legacy for future leaders in this sector.
