Wesley Mental Health Services

Learn about the work of Wesley Mental Health Services helping people with mental health issues.

Mental health has had a growing profile in recent years and progress has been made in some areas. This report highlights that the community impact of mental health issues is far-reaching, with 85 per cent of people indicating having personally experienced a mental health issue or been exposed to it through a friend or family member. For those affected, exclusion from social groups and settings is common and there are still a lot of uncertainties around treatment and how sufferers should function in society. While attitudes are changing, there is still much to do to improve the lives of those living with mental health issues.
