Wesley Homeless Services

Explore our broad range of support services for people who are homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless.

A close look at homeless families reveals that many do not believe their homes are a safe place to live. Domestic violence and relationship breakdown too often set families adrift in a strange and unfamiliar world of emergency shelters and life on the streets. Almost one third of homeless people receiving support are families and the numbers are on the rise. Families are also more likely to be turned away from accommodation services due to a lack of places. Wesley Mission recommends both government and non-government provide more family focused services that address the unique strengths and vulnerabilities of families.
