2010: Keeping minds well: Mental health is everybody’s business
During their lives 77 per cent of people in New South Wales will experience, or know someone who has experienced, a mental health issue. Given the pervasiveness of mental health issues, it is not just something for the professionals to deal with. Everybody has a role to play in dispelling the misinformed fears surrounding mental health and in supporting those people—friends, family, workmates, classmates—who are suffering.
