Remembering ANZAC Day
This week on Wesley Impact! TV we meet Margaret Somerville and the Rev Dr Keith Garner explores John's Gospel.
Driven by her faith in God and her desire to help those in great need, Margaret Somerville trekked some 5,000 kilometres through war torn Australia with 95 stranded, orphaned children when Darwin was bombed back in World War 2. Now 100 years old, Margaret shares her inspiring story and how her work with the Methodist Church began when she heard God’s call at 29 years of age.
Wesley Mission story—Wesley Family Centre
We look at how Wesley Family Centre Westlakes is working closely with mothers to provide them with support, advice and practical programs to build their parenting skills. We hear from one young mum who tells us how she has regained her confidence as a parent and just how much she benefits from the weekly interaction with other mothers.
The Rev Dr Keith Garner leads this week’s sermon with a reading from John.
This week we are joined by talented Australian singer/songwriter Robyn Green. Greg Attwells also joins us on Wesley Impact! TV. Greg is a seasoned performer of indie, folk and worship music and has a deep desire to lead others to the feet of Jesus Christ with his music.
