Interview: Ian Ferguson

Today’s world is full of challenges and people who have fallen on hard times. How can we help these people get back on their feet?

That’s the question Rev Keith Garner and Ian Ferguson will be exploring in this week’s episode of Wesley Impact! TV as they discuss Ian’s role as Fundraising Manager at Wesley Mission.

Ian is responsible for reaching out to donors and asking them to support Wesley Mission as we help members of the community through our varied ministries. Right now, he’s particularly working on a project to redevelop Wesley Edward Eagar Lodge, a homeless shelter in Surrey Hills.

“I love the job, because we come into contact with so many of supporters, and we give them the assurance that needy people in society have someone looking out for them,” says Ian.

Guest performance: Jordan Worner

Jordan is an Australian singer songwriter. He is passionate about leading people into God's presence through music. In today’s episode, he performs ‘None Like You’.

Keith's Message: Put on the new self

Rev Keith Garner opens our eyes to the importance of living a changed life once we follow God.

Rev Garner explains that as Christians, we must put off our old selves and instead live to follow God. In that way, the Spirit will bear fruit in our lives to display the love of Christ to others.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to consider how God is at work in you, changing your life and helping you to follow Him more faithfully.
