Interview: George Dansey
When we think of our favourite sport, we often think of the team we support, or our favourite player. We might think about the coaches, the officials and the results. But, do you ever stop and think about the support staff and the volunteers?
Chaplaincy support often has to be done quietly, behind the scenes, without much song and dance, but it is important. This week, Rev Keith Garner interviews Parramatta Eels Football Team Chaplain, George Dansey.
“I think of Jesus as being a servant, so I'm there just to serve and encourage and support,” George says of his motivation in chaplaincy.
It’s an interview that’s not to be missed!
Guest performance: Craig Gower – Old Rugged Cross
Craig Gower is a professional musician who is passionate about using music to present the Gospel. He’s the Music Director for Wesley Impact! TV, and today he performs ‘Old Rugged Cross’ with the Wesley Impact Band.
Keith's message: Increase Our Faith
Rev Keith Garner opens God’s Word to Luke 17 to explore the idea of us ‘increasing our faith’. Rev Garner explains that when we ask God to help us increase our faith, we can pursue greater challenges and cope with greater loads.
This motivational message will give you a new tool to develop faithfulness that will fundamentally and ultimately make all the difference to the way your life works.
