Bronwyn’s story: Surviving hardship and debt

At 41, Bronwyn Rushton, a single mother of five, was spending her life juggling the meagre family income: pay off the electricity bill but ignore the water bill; buy a new school uniform for her daughter but skimp on the groceries; pay the rent or hold back a little to give her struggling parents a hand. Things only began to improve when Bronwyn started working with a Wesley Mission financial counsellor. She was able to set goals and to finally see a way forward. Now Bronwyn knows she will be able to provide her children with what they need.
