Imagine experiencing your first taste of homelessness at the age of 8. Elisha never had a safe, loving home while she was growing up and by the age of 16, she was living on the streets. When she first came to Wesley Youth Services, Newcastle, it took time for her to trust the staff and begin to open up to them. Since then, Wesley Mission has helped Elisha to overcome her addiction to drugs, find a safe place to live and build life skills for her future.
