2014 Annual Review
Look back at Wesley Mission’s life over the year as we mark the growth, challenges, milestones and achievements in our 2014 Annual Review.
This year Wesley Mission became incorporated, putting us in a stronger position to meet governance requirements and secure government funding. We launched a new early intervention program for young mothers dealing with mental health issues, and one for children and young people at risk of significant harm. We invested in high-tech mental health teaching facilities and our Lifeline service received a record number of calls for help. Our funding for Wesley Homelessness Services doubled, allowing us to be a key partner in the New South Wales Government’s Going Home, Staying Home program. We are in a strong, sustainable and secure position to take on new initiatives and challenges in the coming year.
