Extending hospitality

9 May 2016 Wesley Impact! TV

Hospitality and connecting with people is important to us at Wesley Mission. This week we look at hospitality by talking to Adam Tedja, the manager of our new café, the Upper Room, we hear an original song by Emily Rex, and we consider Jesus’ prayer for unity in our continued reading of John's Gospel.

Special Guest: Adam Tedja

At the new Upper Room Café in Sydney, people can stop by for a coffee or stay longer for a bite of breakfast or lunch. This week we speak to the manager Adam Tedja, who not only discusses the secrets behind the perfect cup of coffee, but also reflects on the significance and purpose of using hospitality to serve the people of Sydney.

Guest Performer: Emily Rex

In this episode we are honoured to listen to Emily Rex as she performs the original song, Bucket.

Keith's Message: Unity of Christians

This week the Rev Dr Keith Garner reads a passage from John 17:20-26, where we see Jesus praying for all Christians across all ages. In his prayer Jesus asks that the church would display the same kind of unity that is found in God’s nature. His desire for His people is a unity without rivalry, a unity of purpose and intention that is able to spread His message to the world.
