Penny and Will’s story: Carers need care

Penny is devoted to caring for her son Will, who has cerebral palsy, vision loss, epilepsy, scoliosis and sleep apnoea. Despite these challenges, Penny felt invincible – until she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Respite care for Will became a necessity, and Penny found Wesley Disability Respite services. The experienced staff understood Will’s individual needs, and Penny was relived to find she could relax, knowing Will was safe at Wesley Disability Respite care while she underwent treatment.
