Wesley Homeless Services

Learn about the work of Wesley Homeless Services helping people who are homeless get back on their feet.

Sydney’s homeless community are people for who shelter, safety, health and loving relationships—all of which are recognised as basic human rights—can no longer be taken for granted. A host of very serious issues contribute to the cycle of homelessness: mental health, drug and alcohol abuse, trauma, financial stress, relationship breakdown, child abuse and more. The majority of homeless people experience at least two of these problems; it is clear that much more than a bed and a hot meal are needed to turn the lives of Sydney’s homeless around.
