Peter’s story: Recovery from alcohol addiction

Peter’s drinking started to take over his life when he was in his early twenties, but it wasn’t until he was 43 that he decided he needed help. Things began to improve only when Peter started a program through Wesley Mission, and he realised that he could make different choices and began to feel hopeful again. Now Peter is training to be an Assistant in Nursing and cherishes each day of his life, welcoming every opportunity help others.
