By Rev Dr Keith Garner

As Easter continues to draw near, the Rev Dr Keith Garner explores the account of Jesus’ interaction with the Gentiles, whose curiosity prompts us to reflect on the love that Jesus Christ extended to the whole world. In the Greeks’ eagerness to meet Jesus and the disciples’ willingness to introduce them, we see the importance of the opportunities we have to point people to Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ readiness to hear and speak with the Gentiles we remember that he accepted people the disciples may have considered to be a nuisance. This can give us hope, inspiration and purpose, especially when life is difficult, for the power of his love which we see at the cross still has an amazing attraction.
