As we reflect on all that is happening at Wesley Mission in the lead-up to Easter, the Rev Dr Rick Dacey reminds us that we are growing together in faith as we connect with our neighbours in need. While stepping out in faith is risky, we remember from the beginning of Mark’s Gospel that Jesus reached out to outsiders despite the risk to his reputation and ministry. As we take our part in his work in our city, we can know that Jesus can change us and those around us to be more like Him.
