As the Rev Dr Keith Garner explores Jesus’ healing of the demon-possessed man in the synagogue, we consider the implications of Jesus’ non-judgemental and profound care of others for our church life. As we reach out to people in situations different from our own, we are encouraged by Jesus’ example to stand with people, help them in their pain and need, and give them the hope that only He can bring.
