By Rev Dr Keith Garner

The Rev Dr Keith Garner explores the accounts of the miracles performed by Christ around Lake Galilee and considers the experience we have today of the healing the presence of Christ. By Lake Galilee, we see Christ’s willing response to the persistence of those who approached him for healing, His readiness to reach out and touch these people, His ability to heal them, and their unstoppable faith, which Christ recognised and responded to, and was the key to bridging the gap between human need and God’s resources. In these miracles, we see despair turn to hope and the serenity of Christ in control against a background of grief and distress. In this same Christ, we put our hope today.
