Key statistics

  • 64 per cent of our tenants were homeless at the time of allocation to a Wesley Community Housing property
  • 36 per cent of our tenants were at risk of homelessness at the time of allocation to a Wesley Community Housing property
  • Over 90 per cent of applicants to Wesley Community Housing have more than one diagnosed mental illness or disability 
  • 65 per cent of our tenants access Wesley Mission wrap around services including financial counselling, mental health support and training 
  • 70 per cent of our tenants exit our short-medium term housing into longer term housing this includes transfers to our general social housing properties
  • 30 per cent of our tenants exit to the private rental market
  • 12 per cent of tenants participated in training through Wesley Mission during 2019/2020 financial year
  • At least 10 per cent of tenants participate in training, ranging from short term non-accredited training to university degrees
