As the Rev Dr Keith Garner explores more of Mark’s Gospel, we are touched by these early accounts of Jesus Christ reaching out to others. In the account of the healing of Peter’s mother-in-law, we see Christ’s willingness to go into her world, to take her hand and transform her life from sickness to wholeness. This lift that Jesus brought to Peter’s mother-in-law motivates us as we come alongside people in need, knowing that God is willing and able to change lives and situations around us.
