What does my friend or loved one receive when I purchase from Wesley Gift Shop?
When buying from Wesley Gift Shop you can choose to send a personalised e-card to the gift recipient or create a print at home card for you to give in person. Funds from the purchase of charity gifts will go to Wesley Mission community programs related to each specific gift.
Will my payment be secure?
Your credit card and personal details will be completely secure as our payment form is protected by a 128 bit SSL encryption key.
Are charity gifts tax-deductible?
Yes. Because your charity gift is a donation towards the area of need described, any gift of $2 or more is tax-deductible.
I’ve lost my receipt, what do I do?
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and the email address you used at the time of purchase. We will send you a copy of your receipt. You can also contact Wesley Mission on 1800 021 821 Monday to Friday 8.30 am–5.30 pm EST.
Can I have the receipt made out to the person receiving the gift?
Sorry, we are unable to do this. For charity gifts, the person buying the gift is actually making a donation to Wesley Mission so the receipt must be in their name.
How are the prices set for each charity gift?
The cost of each gift mirrors the cost of the item and Wesley Mission provides to those in need. For example, the $50 price for rhyming books represents the cost of buying 10 rhyming books and supplying them to families in need.
When I buy a charity gift, does the money actually go to buy that gift?
When buying a charity gift, funds from your purchase will be used in the areas related to each gift. For example, when purchasing More than a bed, $80 will go to help Wesley Homeless Services provide people experiencing or at risk of homelessness get back on their feet. So no matter what you choose, you will be helping to change lives.
